PROFILE
Ms M Sree Lakshmi, PGT, has been the Head of Department,
Chemistry, in Delhi Police Public School since
1995. She has done her MSc and MPhil in Physical
Chemistry from SV University, Andhra Pradesh and
her BEd from Meerut University. Ms Sree Lakshmi
is well-versed in both the ICSE and the CBSE curriculum.
In
a career that has spanned 20 eventful and successful
years, she has taught in schools like St Francis
Convent, Jhansi, Sophia Convent, Meerut; Vidya
Devi Jindal School, Hissar. She has been the external
examiner for Class XII Chemistry board examinations.
She has also to her credit, the development of
an e-learning module for Art Institute Online,
University of Pittsburgh, through NIIT.
The versatile Ms Sree Lakshmi
has completed exciting and challenging assignments
in the print and electronic media. Her energy
and enthusiasm is the key to the high standard
and rate of success in her students. She also
enjoys organising science quizzes and fairs and
coordinating workshops and seminars. She had been
the Teacher-in-Charge for various competitions
like NTSE, Science Olympiad, Maths Olympiad in
the school and coordinated the activities of her
students in an environmental science awareness
project "River Watch", conducted under
the aegis of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF),
India.
