PROFILE
Ms Anju Sharma has been the Head of the Department
of English at Ryan International School, Ghaziabad
since 1997. She did her Masters in English from
Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, and went
on to complete her BEd and then MEd from Annamalai
University. She briefly taught at the Sadhu Vaswani
International School, Delhi.
She
was appointed Senior Supervisor of the school
in 2002. She closely monitors and supervises Classes
11 and 12. She also efficiently plans and coordinates
the academic, social and cultural activities both
at the intra-and the interschool level.
Ms Sharma is a versatile teacher
and takes great interest in self-enhancement programmes.
She has been an active NIE Teacher-Coordinator
between 2000 and 2002. She successfully completed
the Intel Teacher of the Future Programme. She
also participated in the Peace Education Seminar
conducted by the Foundation for Advancement of
Science and UNESCO. She has been awarded the Paryavaran
Dronacharya Award for guiding and encouraging
students in the Paryavaran Ratna Award Examination
and Vanyajeev Ratna Award conducted by the Indian
Centre for Wildlife and Environmental Studies,
South Asia.
Apart from academics, Ms Sharma
takes active interest in co-curricular activities
and conducts literary and educative competitions
like debate, spellathon, quizzes, elocution, dramatics,
etc. She has lead her team in the Odyssey International
Literary English Fest 2003 conducted by City Montessori
School, Lucknow.
