PROFILE
Ms Teresa Ernest, is a senior Biology teacher
at Presentation Convent School, New Delhi and
has been in this post for the last 26 years. Having
completed her BSc and MSc in Zoology from Jiyaji
University, Gwalior, in 1974 and 1977 respectively,
Ms Ernest went ahead and completed her B Ed from
MS University, Baroda, in 1978.
Ms
Ernest had completed the Educational Leadership
Programme in 1998-99. She has been a CBSE examiner-in-charge
from 1995 to date and was the Head Examiner in
Science and Technology (Class 10) for the year
2004.
Her skill and dedication to the
profession have reaped their own recognitions.
She received the 2001 Teacher's Excellence Award
from the Lion's Club of Delhi and the 2004 Balkan-Jee-Bari
Award for 25 years of dedicated service.
She has also received awards and certificates
of appreciation from the school for the preparation
of a QMS procedure manual.
Apart from teaching, Ms Teresa Ernest enjoys reading,
gardening and also keeps herself busy in social
service.
