PROFILE

Ms Kajol Roy is a senior PGT English in the Heritage School, Vasant Kunj. She has completed her schooling from various convent schools in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Siliguri and Darjeeling. She graduated with Honours in English Literature from St Xavier's College, Kolkata and her Masters in English from the University of Calcutta. She also has a BEd degree from Annamalai University in 1984.

Her teaching career dates back to 1992 when she was working as the Head of the Department of English at Green Fields School, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi. Later, she also worked as the Head of the Department of English at various schools like DAV School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, Sadhu Vaswani Girls' Senior Secondary School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, She has also taught at Prayag Mahila Vidyapith Degree College, Allahabad. A hardworking teacher, Ms Roy is frequently feted for her conscientious efforts at bettering the lot of children. Included in her long list of awards is an award by the Chairman and the Principal of Heritage School on behalf of the school's Parent teacher Association.
