Mrs Sudha Acharya is an eminent teacher and writer. After graduating from the University of Rajasthan in English, she went on to become a lecturer in English at the Kanoria College, Rajasthan. After a stint as a library consultant at the Institute of Social Studies Trust, she joined Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, as PGT English. She is currently working as PGT English, Birla Vidya Niketan, Pushp Vihar, Delhi.

Mrs Acharya's interest are wide ranging. She has a passion for theatre, western music, fine arts, discussions and poetry reading. She has co-authored Women at Work-A Bibliography which was published by the well-known publication house, SAGE. She has also done book reviews for the magazine Seminar. Macmillan's Weekend English has been co-authored by her.
