Mrs Reema Sharma is a well-known teacher and writer. After graduating from Miranda House she went on to complete her Masters in English from the University of Delhi. She joined Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, in 1984. Presently she is the Head of the English Department here.

She has authored Weekend English—a series of five books (classes I-V) filled with stories and activities. The series has been structured in such a way that language learning becomes incidental and painless. She conducted a workshop on Weekend English at DPS, Mathura Road, for teachers from various Delhi Public Schools. She also authored Breakthrough English for classes I to VIII. This series is based on the communicative approach.

Apart from teaching, her passions extend to reading poetry and writing short poems for children.
