PROFILE
Ms Sukhleen Kaur is an English teacher at the
esteemed Ryan International School, Rohini. After
completing her graduation in English from Janaki
Devi Memorial College, Delhi University, she went
on to finish her Nursery Teachers Training from
YWCA, New Delhi. Later she did her B Ed from M
D University, Rohtak, Haryana. She has taught
at various other schools like St Vivekanand School,
East Patel Nagar and G D Salwan Junior Public
School before taking up her current post.
Her tireless efforts and contributions to the
teaching profession has been widely appreciated.
She has been nominated for the Best Teacher
Award instituted by the Parents' Forum of
Ryan International School, Rohini. She has also
received the Delhi Environmental Education
Didactics Award.
Apart from academics, Ms Kaur
has a wide range of interests. She has been the
editor of the annual school magazine Radiance.
She has anchored the Christmas celebrations for
the Honourable President of India, Dr A PJ Abdul
Kalam at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Ms Sukhleen Kaur
has also anchored the Zonal North India and National
Level Quiz for Helpage India. She has conducted
a seminar on teaching poetry for teachers at DAV,
Chandigarh.
In her free time Ms Kaur enjoys
creative writing and dramatics. She has a flair
for composing and editing poems, articles and
magazines. She has also written and directed a
number of plays.
