from Sacred Heart Convent, Ranchi and received

in 1999, she started teaching at SD Public

the Ramjas School, where she still teaches,
in July 2001.
At Ramjas, she has been assigned several
responsibilities including her role as the
teacher coordinator of a literacy programme
in association with Springdales Society; being
the editor-in-charge of the school magazine
and preparing students for various literary
and cultural activities. Apart from these,
she organises workshops and excursion trips
for students as also annual events in the
school. For her academic and organisational
skills, she has been awarded the Professional

A teacher needs to be more like a facilitator
in promoting the right kind of education,
she says, which will help students develop
their reasoning faculty and become independent.
Ms Dua feels that shaping young minds and
interacting with them can be as rewarding
and learning an experience as it is for the
students.
